FEBRUARY 2024
We hear much about the short working week, but how are our workdays structured?
What is our typical working pattern?
I created this playful visualization, considering various worker categories and reflecting on how we manage time, based on personal experience.
Black lines represent working hours, red lines are breaks and/or meals and the length of these lines refers to the duration.
These illustrations aim also to point out a reflection about work: in a life where we devote most of our daily hours to work, finding joy in our job becomes crucial. Enjoying what we do is key to a meaningful life. Additionally, taking breaks when needed and appreciating moments outside of work contribute to a balanced and well-lived life.
