[01] The Lens
Maps, diagrams, and images are ways of making sense of the world. And finding new ways to tell its stories.
Humap brings together research, design, and experimentation to find unexpected connections and give ideas a visual form. The result can be something to look at, touch, interact with, or contribute to. Each project finds its own way of engaging people and telling a story.

[02] Behind Humap
I'm Ilaria Marzano, an architect and visual designer based in Milan. I founded Humap in 2021. I started out working in architecture and interior design, but over time my interests shifted towards maps, data visualization, and visual storytelling. Today, I work across different formats, from digital projects to physical installations and participatory experiences, often bringing something of my architectural background along the way.
