Contiamo brings information design into public spaces, where people can meet, share experiences, and make something together. Each time, the question, the context, the people, and the outcome change. The idea stays the same: turning individual contributions into a collective visual story.
Question
What happens when information design moves off the screen and into people's hands?
Humap approach
It starts with a question.
People respond through simple gestures: placing a sticker, writing a word, making a choice, or moving an element. Contribution by contribution, a visual representation takes shape. The information gathered becomes something people create together, opening up opportunities for expression, conversation, and mutual listening.
Participation is what brings the visualization to life.
Experiments
01 — Tracce In-visibili (2025)
Making unheard experiences visible.
A participatory artwork exploring experiences of exclusion and silencing in everyday life. Through colored stickers, individual responses become part of a collective visual map.
02 — Quello che resta (2026)
Mapping our relationship with a place.
A participatory installation developed for the Festival della Goccia, exploring how people know, remember, and emotionally connect with Bosco della Goccia.

Outcome
A visual representation that grows through participation, but also a shared moment of expression, exchange, and listening.
Every contribution counts. Every voice matters.
MAKE THE NEXT ONE TOGETHER
